My name is Donna Winfree. My mother is Japanese "(WADA)" is her family
name. A friend of mine is a Ham Radio Operator here in Kentucky, USA.
He suggested that I tell an operator in Japan my story, insisting that
Ham Operators are the Information Highways of the Air. I will get his
call sign for you. I need information on how to find my Mothers family
in Hakodate, Hokkaido. She was born in a small town named
Sumiyocho(spelling may not be correct), around the city of Hakodate.
There has been no contact made for 35+ years. They stopped writing
back to her after she had been here in the states for a year or so. I'm
desperately trying to find any links to them. Rob (My Friend) thought
that maybe someone in Japan could help? If you can't offer any
assistence that is okay. I appreciate your time anyway.
