Pseudotsuga japonica

Leaves crowded spirally, shining green and grooved above,with two stomate bands beneath.

This species is a rare tree and distribution is restricted. The genus Pseudotsuga is represented by 6 species in the world.

The wood is used for buildings, ship, buckets.
