Howdy folks,
The weekend warrior here, I just thought I would drop a little
(Big) note to ya'll.
Baltimore (actually it was Rockville Maryland...sweet huh?) was
a blast from the past. I was in heaven singing on stage with
South Side Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. We did soulful versions,
w/horns and harmonies a plenty, of "To be with you",
"Just take my heart" and "30 days in the hole".
The set was amazing, from "All the young dudes", "See
See ryder" to " The fever", " Midnight hour",
"Brown Sugar" and about 30 other classic Rock &
Soul hits. Thanks to Susan Berkheimer and Ricky Byrd for bringing
me back. To Johnny, Muddy, Chris, and Joey; I hail you guys.
The Jukes Rule! To Liberty Devitto, Andy Burton & Christine
Ohlman your performances were awesome; it was so exciting to
share the stage with you.
The Novato Art & Wine festival was like Oktoberfest meets
my high school reunion meets Disney Playhouse. From where I was
standing there must have been a good thousand people dancing
and singing to the music. This type of gig is so wonderful; it's
like the circus coming to town when you were a kid you know?
Thanks to Corey, Brittany, Tina and Lia from Marin School of
the Arts for singing some much needed background vocals on my
tunes. I think it's about time Mark Chole (Mayor of Santa Rosa)
and Matt Isola (Bam-Bam) take some real vocal lessons or I'm
going to have to get the kids from MSA for every show! It was
a real treat to see almost everybody from the EM Forum as well.
Utah rocks! Danny Marz is solely motivated by the spirit and
power of music. He and his wife Tracy put on a great rock show
in Ogden. Danny you've got a heart of gold and you're pretty
funny too, you got me good a couple of times. I'll get you back
motor mouth. The Sin City All-stars opened the show. Damn these
dudes are good, cool people too; I hope we do some work in the
future. We came on shortly before the sun went down and I thought
we kicked up our heels and rocked 'em hard. We were kind of in
the dark (We all wore black...that was pretty stupid) when the
sun drifted over the mountains. Thank God for the lighters and
the moon. A big thanks to my old partner in crime GiGi for putting
down the real estate books for a minute and giving me his best
back beat. What can I say about TESLA? Here we go, Troy, Frank,
Jeff, Brian and Dave you have re-stored rock back in the USA.
Man it's been a long time seeing you guy's play, the other night
was simply amazing (No Brian, I'm not blowing smoke up your kilt).
I was so into the music it inspired me to write a song in my
hotel room the next night in Salt Lake City!!
Where am I? Oh yeah still trying to recover from heat stroke
from the Shasta summer celebration. Whew 116 in the shade, hell
we hit the stage at 9:00 (After DPS slayed the crowd) and it
was 108. It was messing with my studio tan. Ok, ok so I'm a wuss.
It was good fun...I wanted to play longer.
Thanks to my friends/fans for making the trek to see the old
workhorse.

Rawk!! Sue C. you're good people.... Uhm even if you are a little
crazy (In a good way). Don't worry Sue I'll keep plugging away
at Troy about that 415 concert, Thanks to the lovely ride'em
Cowgirl33 for keeping that smile going, Lance you're one of a
kind, you're a true supporter...(Soooo are you making a documentary
or what), Tom & Amber; My dynamic duo, Dan Ferris for working
his ass off...even though he looked like Mr. Clean (Dude if you
could sing I would let you wear all bright white), Thanks to
Dani and Nicole for not giving me the stink eye when I read the
riot act to your husbands. Thanks to all the gang on the forum
for enlightening me with your "prose"...and cons..lol,
be nice Ferret girl that bass player crack was a bit harsh, you
know he's reading this stuff. I want to give a shout out to Ron
Giesecke and his family for supporting the EMB and MR. BIG all
these years and too my old compadre Pablo Gilberto on his marriage.

PS. Denise is doing great, she's got a gig in SF. at the Bottom
of the hill with Kiff Gallagher June 30th, whose coming with
me? The boy's are growing up fast although we still haven't potty
trained them yet.... Yikes! This just might be my toughest challenge.

GET OUT OF MY YARD was recorded
in Los Angeles. I played electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and
bass. Jeff Bowders played drums. Mike Szuter played bass on tracks
8, 10, and 11. My wife Emi played piano on track 6 and Hammond
organ on track 8. Tom Size engineered and mixed.

you can listen. Get ready, and...

Torpeyのプロジェクトとは異なるもので、Patは全く関係していない様です。

Well I'm heading out to the city of Baltimore to play a Rock
and Soul show to benefit Montgomery County's foster kid's program.
It's going to be great sharing the stage again with my new friend
guitarist Ricky Byrd (Joan Jett, Roger Daltry, Ian Hunter, John
Waite). You've got to check out his record "Tough Room...

Ricky's partners in crime The Hit Squad will be the rhythm section
featuring Liberty Devitto on drums (Billy Joel), Hugh McDonald
(Bon Jovi) on bass and a handful of others that I don't know
but I sure as hell have heard of.

got chills just thinking about it, man I think they're already
